Performance Dog Day in Flagstaff

On Saturday, Sept 20 the City of Flagstaff with co-host in conjunction with several local dog training clubs the first "Performance Dog Day."  It is a special day to promote multiple canine sports and training. Most importantly, participants will be showcasing lots of brilliant canines.  There will be demos/matches for many fun things to do with a dog including agility, obedience, rally, CGC testing, flyball, disc dog and dog dancing (if you haven't tried this one, it is lots of fun--talk to Mary P.).  Berners and their owners are specially invited to bring their dogs and carts for a drafting demonstration (coordinated by Denise Dean and Steve Dudley).  This incredibly fun event will be held at Thorpe Park ball fields from 9-4 pm. There will be vendors, food, and goodie bags for all who attend.  Everyone is invited, bring dogs and kids too. Hotels in Flagstaff will participate with special group rates.

If you need more information about the event contact Denise Dean - dean7044@juno.com  or Carol Lynn Fox - BerneseMTNdog@cox.net
