Eligibility:
There are two types of
membership:
a) Regular Membership
for all persons 18 years and older
b) Junior membership
for all persons under 18 years of age.
Only persons who are
in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the
purposes of this Club shall be eligible for membership. While
membership is to be unrestricted as to residence, the Club’s primary
purpose is to be representative of the owners, breeders, and exhibitors
in its immediate area.
Election
to Membership:
Each
applicant for membership in he GCSBMDC shall apply on a
Membership Form
which shall provide that the applicant agrees to abide by these
Constitution and By-Laws, the
Code of Ethics
of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, and the rules of the
American Kennel Club. The application shall state the name, address, and
occupation of the applicant and will be requires to attend at least one
club meeting before election to membership. Accompanying the
application and a signed code of ethics form, the prospective member
shall submit dues payment for the current year.
